Ridley (Zero Mission)

A simple animation of Ridley flying over Crateria. Let it loop a few times, and it'll smoothen out.

I chose to model him in his Zero Mission appearance since that one hasn't appeared in 3D yet, as far as I know. I placed the "Unknown Item #3" (Which is found next to his room in the game, if I'm not mistaken) in his hands, since he looked odd to me when I had him holding nothing. It's probably a bit hard to recognize it, though, since I didn't have much of a reference to go by.

Worked on this on and off, casually, over the course of about 9 months. There's probably room for improvement, but I think this is good enough for the time being.

I didn't put much detail into Crateria (which is why the mountains look like clay), since it isn't really the focus. Though it took a while, I did enjoy modeling him, and will probably do his other variants at some point. I actually started out modeling his Brawl appearance, but I figured Zero Mission Ridley would be more challenging, since I'd have to do some guesswork on what he should look like (Zero Mission Ridley is never seen from behind, for example). Mostly, I just referenced his official art, and the sprites seen here.
